This application relates to 2B Redcross Way, currently in use as a single family house. The application seeks to retain this use. The development proposes the demolition of the existing dwelling on the site to allow for the construction of a new, carefully designed family house of four bedrooms. The current dwelling has low floor to ceiling heights and poor thermal qualities. The new house built in place will have much improved livability – both in terms of space standards and thermal performance. A previous pre-application request was submitted on 6th August 2018 regarding this proposal (Ref: 18/EQ/0296). This current application responds to the pre-application advice given.
